Are you a creative and motivated designer looking to make your mark in the furniture industry? Teemo is excited to announce that we’re hiring a Junior Furniture Designer to join our dynamic team in Peterborough.

Position Details:

  • Location: Peterborough, UK
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Remote Work: Initially, five days in the office with future opportunities for remote work up to two days a week.
  • Salary: £22,000 – £25,000, depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all stages of the design process, from concept development to final production.
  • Use your creativity and technical skills to produce sketches, CAD models, 3D renderings and more.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop innovative designs and create engaging presentations.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Work with freelance designers and CGI artists, providing briefs and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Strong 3D modelling skills in SolidWorks and proficiency in KeyShot.
  • Expertise in Photoshop, InDesign, and other Adobe software.
  • Excellent visual communication skills and a good understanding of materials like wood, metal, and glass.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
